The Royal Opera House’s 2017/18 season – which sees Oliver Mears start his tenure as Director of Opera – features a total of six new productions and five world premieres, including the highly-anticipated new opera from George Benjamin and Martin Crimp, Lessons in Love and Violence, and a concert performance of Donizetti’s L’Ange de Nisida with Ludovic Tézier as King Fernand of Naples.
